Guide Lines to Sell

- Items MUST have a price. No exceptions.

- Thread crapping is not acceptable. If you're not interested, stay out of the thread.

- Gauging interest threads are discouraged, but will be allowed. If your item ultimately not for sale ,the thread will be deleted.

- Sellers with ebay auctions, you may post the link to your auction. However, bidding on bako-tech is not allowed.

- Remember, pictures are worth 1000 words. They're worth more when your screen name is written on paper and placed in the pic with the item for sale. Especially if no one knows you that well.

- Group Buys must be approved by a site ADMIN (no exceptions). Please PM one of the mods or admins for details on this.

- Vendor-like sales are not permitted. Since we have contributing vendors, it would not be fair to them to have members selling multiples of the same item. Our vendor pricing is VERY fair, please consider the exposure it would get you or your company.

-Once your item is sold, please post in your thread to have it locked and put a notice telling people that the item has been SOLD. Just a courtesy......

Buyers
- We can only do so much to protect you, so you need to make cetain precautions.

- Be sure to get as much seller info as possible. You should get a cell phone number and/or alternate number, at least one email, and when paying with paypal, use a CREDIT CARD, not a debit card. Credit cards will dispute charges because it's THEIR money at stake. They won't fight as hard if it was money out of your checking account. It would also help if someone could vouch for the member you are buying from. Don't be afraid to ask, it's your money at stake.

- NO DIBS!!! This wastes bandwidth, and contaminates the thread. It's a first come, first serve type of deal.
-IF YOU OPEN A DISPUTE WITH PAYPAL, DO NOT CLOSE IT UNTIL AFTER YOU RECEIVE A REFUND OR PRODUCT. Paypal will not allow to to re-open a dispute for any reason, and you could be hung to dry if a verbal or PM agreement is broken. Cover all your bases to reduce your risk to being ripped off.

ANY ABUSE OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN A WARNING AND/OR TIMEOUT. REPEAT OFFENDERS WILL BE BANNED WITHOUT QUESTION, WE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO REPEAT OURSELVES.
